A Message from Our President

Joining PCT changed everything for me at Penn. Our brotherhood brings together people with completely different backgrounds, interests, and ambitions, including athletes, musicians, DJs, entrepreneurs, and everything in between. We are all pursuing our own paths, but we're connected by a shared commitment to professionalism, service, wellness, and, above all, each other.

When I first arrived on campus, I felt lost. I didn’t know how to navigate the professional world or find people who could help me grow. Coming from a small town in Iowa, PCT became more than a place to meet upperclassmen. It became a community of mentors, friends, and people who genuinely cared. During rush, I met brothers I could laugh with for hours and others whose career journeys pushed me to think bigger. Now, as president, I see that same support system in action every day. Our alumni don’t fade into the background after graduation. They stay involved, they show up, and they invest in us.

And while professional development matters, PCT has never been just about securing internships. We are equally committed to service, to giving back, and to creating a culture where wellness is taken seriously. We build opportunities and host events that meet brothers where they are, supporting both their goals and their well-being.

Let's be real: Penn can break you down. The relentless recruiting grind, the rejection emails, the feeling that everyone else has it figured out...it's exhausting. But PCT has given me a family I didn't expect to find. The brothers I've met here are some of the most authentic, ambitious, and caring people I know. They celebrate your wins like they are their own and stand by you when things get hard. That is the kind of community I want you to experience, too.

If you're thinking about rushing, please reach out. Follow our socials, message me or any brother, or come to our events. We can't wait to meet you!

With excitement and pride,

Alina Markutsya

2026 President

Get to Know Our Executive Board

Christine Lam
Executive Vice President

Hi! My name is Christine Lam, and I’m a sophomore in Wharton studying Statistics & Business Analytics. I joined PCT looking for a sense of community at Penn, and quickly found so much more than that. Through PCT, I’ve met my closest friends and the people who make Penn truly feel like home. PCT brothers and alumni are the ones I turn to for help with classes, advice on recruiting, spontaneous coffee chats, trying new restaurants, and everything in between.

What I love most about PCT is the constant support that exists across every part of college life. Whether it’s studying together in Huntsman, celebrating wins big and small, or leaning on one another during stressful weeks, the brotherhood is always there. PCT has given me a community where I feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to grow — not just professionally, but personally as well.

As Executive Vice President, I’m excited to strengthen these connections by creating more brotherhood-wide experiences that bring everyone together and ensure our events are inclusive and accessible to the entire fraternity. I’m incredibly grateful for this community and honored to help shape an organization that continues to be a place of belonging for current and future brothers. If you ever want to chat, don’t hesitate to reach out or say hi — I’d love to meet you!

Wyatt Lake
Internal Vice President

Hey, I’m Wyatt. I’m currently a sophomore in SEAS studying computer science and math econ.

My first semester at Penn I stayed mostly within the engineering school. While I enjoyed meeting that community, I wanted the opportunity to experience all sides of Penn during my short time here.

I decided to attend an open rush event for PCT on a whim, and quickly realized that it was the exact type of community I was looking for. From weekend retreats in the Poconos to late night study sessions in Huntsman–I’ve made so many memories and lifelong friendships through PCT that I truly can’t imagine my college experience without it.

And although I didn’t know it at first, I’ve come to realize that the professional side of PCT is an equally important part of our organization. I’ve had countless resume reviews and mock interviews from bros–often without even having to ask. Even if you aren’t interested in a career related to business, PCT will help you build invaluable networking and professional skills that you will carry with you for the rest of your life.

As Internal Vice President, I’m excited to help the next generation of PCT bros have the same experience I did upon joining. A big part of that is making sure our community is as accessible as possible. So, if you’ve wanted to join a business fraternity from your first day at Penn, or if you just want to learn a bit more about our community, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Van Nguyen
Vice President of Finance

Hi!! I'm Van, a sophomore in Wharton studying Finance and ESG. I am originally from Hanoi, Vietnam. Traveling halfway across the world from my family, I knew I wanted to find a community here that would be my second home, and that (cringeyly, I know.... but I promise its true) ended being PCT.

I always say this to my friends but I am so grateful to have found this incredible group of people who have became more than just my friends. The org supports me in all aspects of my life – social, performing arts, and professional – so much so that all of my other circles and family back home knows who they are.

If you are looking for a genuine community to join, then I say give rushing PCT a try! I found my people here, and I know you will too. I'm excited to serve on board this semester, and can't wait to meet all of you soon. Please reach out!
